For the 2018 Orgatec fair in Germany Cologne, Peter van de Water designed the Cascando booth. The concept of the booth was to offer visitors a clear and inspiring guidance. On stage we presented the newest designs made by Peter van de Water and colleague Robert Bronwasser. The middle zone and far end, functioned as living showroom. Colorful styled boxes as inspiration. Color, materialization and styling in collaboration with Dutch photographer and stylist, Floor Knaapen.
In the East of Amsterdam, Peter van de Water designed this beautiful place, where two separate spaces where joined to make one great apartment. In the deciding wall we made some spacious openings, offering great see through's. Both spaces got a long "storage-wall" with sliding doors in different widths, giving these walls a decorative structure. In these sliding doors we repeated the walnut wood of the floor in one space, in de sliding doors of the storage in the other space. The spectacular fire place is build up in matte black powder coated steel panels and sturdy ribs. This apartment is minimalistic but warm and is completed by some great vintage furniture pieces.

Recently Cascando moved from Westervoort to Duiven where Peter van de Water designed the make-over of a former tax authorities building. The interior was completely stripped up on to the concrete inner-skin. Ceilings and walls were removed, creating a bright and light open office. Peter van de Water also designed a new entrance giving the building a contemporary look. The inside of the building is completely finished in soft grey tones, incluiding the visible technique on the ceiling. In this open space we placed some black framed glass partitions and warm oak elements, such as a spectacular open kitchen. This space forms the perfect environment for Cascando’s open space products.

Skatestore is one of the skateboard lifestyle pioneers in the Netherlands, starting in 1988 in Scheveningen. Peter van de Water was asked for a new interior design concept. The prime goal was to make a step to a broader public without losing the typical Skatestore soul, keeping its credibility. The new interior is cool, warm and very functional, offering a platform to a big number of different product types. It is the next level in the Skateboard scene. This first store was realized in Amsterdam at the Nieuwendijk 134.

This apartment in the East of Amsterdam is a small miracle. It is situated in a outdated seventies apartment building. This apartment is the result of two separate apartments above each other, combined to one. Both apartments where small, low and dark so it was quite a challenge. Adding these two apartments together offered the opportunity to create a spectacular vide at the backside af the apartment. This changed the apartments beyond recognition. The height is accentuated by the kitchen cupboards which became part of the staircase construction, taking it two floors high. In the vide we added a light object based on my Final cut suspended light for TossB. The interior we placed in the new situation, fits perfect and is made with the greatest possible precision. Neutral grays an light colored wood add to this light, precise almost Japanese oasis.

This small project in Amsterdam designed by Peter van de Water could be qualified as small investment, high impact. By removing the closed and central placed hallway, this apartment opened up and instantly got a lofty feeling. As a divider between the kitchen and living room we placed a smoke glass sliding door. Keeping the open character but adding a bit warmth and functionality. Big minimalistic and functional cupboards dissolve in the building itself. The long stainless kitchen is placed over the full length of the existing windows. Pay attention to the great details in the worktop like an integrated wooden cutting board.

One of Peter van de Water earliest projects is is this apartment in an old warehouse in the centre of Amsterdam. Although the apartment is spacious it did offer some challenges for two people to live in. Making the most of the offered space, lead to some ingenious solutions. Huge cupboards integrated in the structure of the apartment offer al the needed space for daily storage. These cupboards are placed across a compact stainless steel kitchen. An elevation placed in front of the relatively high placed windows do not only offer a better view to the garden, it also offers space for a retractable bed.

For skaters, Tom's skatestore at the Damstraat in Amsterdam is an Institute. Located in the most crowded tourist area in Amsterdam, the old, worn out shop had to be completely renovated. The new interior should attract new customers too, not only the hardcore skater scene. The new shop is cleaner, less underground, but still a real and authentic skaters store.

Low investment, hight impact, is the best description for this former exclusive streetwear boutique in Haarlem. The shop was filled with smart design ideas. As an example, the walls where covered with walnut veneer panels, it feels luxurious, but it was cheaper then plastering and painting the walls.
